Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist with code blue situations when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome with appropriate certification).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as necessary.
