Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and outcomes accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with externships).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
