Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately while documenting all interactions in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions with clinical expertise.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment in compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to families and loved ones during critical times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work under pressure in high-volume settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all backgrounds.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
