Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations per ACLS protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems with attention to regulatory compliance
- Precept and orient new nursing staff to facility-specific protocols and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1-year acute care experience in med-surg, telemetry, or ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Strong assessment skills with ability to prioritize critical interventions
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
