Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document accurate, timely records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies with calm, decisive action.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to infection control standards and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (New graduates with excellent credentials may be considered).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and valid state ID.
- Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
