Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and comprehensive health assessments in accordance with facility protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies safely and accurately.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, post-care instructions, and disease prevention.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or eligible for compact license).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Willingness to travel or work across North Carolina and Georgia as needed.
