Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical, telemetry, or ICU units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs and delegate tasks appropriately
- Respond to emergency situations with clinical competence
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (or compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Pass background/drug screening
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day/night rotations)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
