Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment of vital signs, pain levels, and overall physical and emotional condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, physician orders, and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, physicians, and specialists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Monitor patient progress and intervene immediately when changes in condition occur.
- Assist patients and families with education, discharge planning, and navigating the healthcare system.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and quality care standards.
