Responsibilities
- Deliver Direct Patient Care: Assess patient health needs, administer medications, and implement care plans prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously monitor vital signs and update the healthcare team regarding any changes in patient condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with Teams: Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to code blue situations and medical emergencies within the facility.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
