Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions closely.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Respond to emergent situations with composure, speed, and precision.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in the State of Texas (TX-RN).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
