Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, reporting any significant changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to HIPAA compliance.
