Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily activities and personal hygiene.
- Document patient care plans, medical history, and treatment progress accurately.
- Collaborate with the nursing team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current, valid, and unencumbered RN license to practice in Massachusetts.
- CPR/BLS Certification (ACLS preferred but not required for new hires).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
