Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, progress, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to professional growth.
