Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by interviewing, observing, and performing physical examinations.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical orders.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly communicate critical findings to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
