Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Monitor patient vital signs, medical history, and overall condition to identify changes or emergencies.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and assist in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value potential and attitude.
