Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in clinical status.
- Document patient care services in electronic health records accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (FL) or North Carolina (NC).
- CPR/BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred for high-acuity units.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population.
