Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patient conditions and document accurate, timely medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Administer basic and complex nursing procedures under supervision.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN).
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Commitment to the nursing code of ethics and patient safety standards.
