Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental conditions to determine appropriate nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Virginia.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma).
- CPR/BLS certification is required (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
