Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities and medical histories in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Assist with patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care instructions.
- Respond to patient calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
