Your Mission, Our Priority
As an Entry-Level RN at Pacific Coast Health Systems, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals who are committed to your success and the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress, symptoms, and care provided.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred for new hires.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient-centric approach.
- Emotional Resilience: Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and hospital technology.
