Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance strategies.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards set by the facility and state board.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
