Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond to patient emergencies with composure and prioritize patient safety.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to cross-train in various departments.
