Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and history taking, to establish care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols with precision and care.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all clinical findings accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care management.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and rapid response skills.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained during orientation).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced hospital environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
