Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, formulate a nursing plan, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare provider immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding disease processes, discharge instructions, and home care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
