Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities, responses to treatments, and clinical observations in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) promptly.
- Provide clear and empathetic education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and home care.
- Maintain strict infection control standards and a sterile environment to prevent hospital-acquired infections.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical situations with calm, decisive action.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to comply with facility vaccination policies.
