Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the attending physician and charge nurse immediately.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal health outcomes.
- Document all patient care services, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, medication side effects, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Wisconsin or Ohio (dual licensure preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
