Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues, needs, and recovery progress.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and update patient records accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team on patient plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN License in Texas.
- BSN preferred; Diploma or ADN accepted.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
