Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
