Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communication: Effectively collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Emergency Response: Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to any changes or medical emergencies.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
