Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment progress accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving measures when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Maryland (or willing to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
