Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and discharge instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, care plans, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and code blue situations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN License in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work flexible shifts (nights, weekends).
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
