Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety as the priority
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, document assessments accurately, and respond to emergencies
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and CEU completion
