The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of patient health status.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Oregon.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new graduates with exceptional clinical rotation may be considered).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
- Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
