Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs and medical conditions continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and reactions accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and preventative care.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and speed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
