Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established medical protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, intervening promptly in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
