Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in health status.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment to promote healing and recovery.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the role.
