Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient health needs and develop appropriate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, identifying changes and reporting critical information to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in the electronic health record accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
