Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety committees
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 3+ years considered)
- BLS/ACLS certification (required) with PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (specialty units preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC/Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed
