Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions to identify needs and changes in status.
- Administer Care: Perform treatments, administer medications, and provide wound care according to established protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication usage, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- License: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical equipment.
