Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in 12-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers for integrated care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
- Lead rapid response team interventions during emergency situations
- Mentor new nurses and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Current WI RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
