Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings with compassion and precision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state license with quick endorsement)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg preferred)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system highly desirable
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
