Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings with critical thinking and clinical expertise
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN license required)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years of acute care experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in Med-Surg or ICU
- Strong assessment skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
