Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner within Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle critical situations calmly.
- Computer proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
