Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with clinical excellence
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient plans
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license with GA residency)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Experience in ER, MedSurg, or ICU settings
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC/Meditech)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
