Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in emergency, ICU, or med-surg departments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active New York State RN license (or eligible within 30 days)
- BSN or associate degree in nursing with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (required for ICU/ER roles)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic or Cerner electronic health records
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
