Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with bridge programs).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting patients.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
