Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to identify changes in health status.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and participate in code blue protocols.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with excellent clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems.
