Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with legal standards.
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding of treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of New York.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
