Responsibilities
- Delicate direct patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Provide patient education and family support during critical moments
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (compact license acceptable)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care or emergency nursing experience
- Proven proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
