Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using our advanced EHR system
- Monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition requiring intervention
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license with TX endorsement)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new graduates welcome)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
